We use Mathematics in our lives on a daily basis. Mathematics has been significant in our culture and our past for longer than we can imagine.  Ancient Mathematics is the base of all the things that surround us because without mathematics nothing is possible.

You look at the cars around you. It has all the functions like the shape of the tires, the design of the car, the engine, and everything else. That all are direct results of mathematics. Without mathematics, even economics is not possible. Without mathematics, we would not know what money to save and what money to invest and where will it all go?

With the help of mathematics, NASA and other space agencies have been able to identify so much about our universe. Mathematics is also useful to maintain resources that we have as we work on very limited resources. And with the right calculation, we can survive and even make some changes in the world around us. Every single thing you see around you is a result of mathematics.

History

The history of mathematics dates back to Babylonian time and Egyptian time. To create great architectural achievement, to understand the date and time, to make calendars, and to make calculations on tax, army, food, and other survival resources, mathematics was necessary. The knowledge was passed on to great mathematicians like Pythagoras, Euclid, Archimedes, Thales, and others. Early roots of mathematics can be traced back to the very first Sumerian civilization who brought so many advanced rules, techniques, and methods to grow civilization.

The ancient Babylonians invented a versatile numbering system that solved linear and quadratic problems Which later were added to Algebra. Ancient Sumerians developed a system that was an additive decimal system having the base of 10 later which were made to 60. Also, they did very well; they were not sure how to differentiate the integral and fractional numbers.
