DC has produced some great movies for a decade that tie in with the overall DC Extended Universe and it has also produced the movies which are not so-good movies. Marvel started its universe and the whole “Marvel build up” with Iron Man movie which hinted to potential Hulk movie, villains to come and characters. The DC Universe, known for The Dark Knight Trilogy and other Batman movies, felt short with building up the movie series for its Universe.
Which DC Extended Universe movies worked and which didn’t?
So far, we have Man of Steel (2013), Batman V Superman (2016), Justice League Snyder Cut (2021), and Wonder Woman (2017) and Shazam! (2019) as great movies to watch and that does not compromise the overall DCEU build up. However, there are other movies that were good to watch but they did not do justice making up the universe. DC Extended Universe is rumoured to release its next movie about Black Adam, Martian Manhunter, Superman, and possibly about Death Stroke but there is no update or carefully thoughout series of DCEU movies.
